Microsoft Power BI
Data-driven dashboard designs
A series of Power BI dashboards developed across multiple clients and industries at BDO, each tailored to different data sets, requirements and use cases while improving clarity, usability and consistency in reporting.
What was delivered
Design of multiple dashboard experiences across client engagements, identifying critical data based on business goals and translating complex data sets into clear, usable reporting tools for analysis and decision-making.
“Dashboards should surface answers, not force interpretation.”

Reporting lacked consistency and clarity, with an overwhelming volume of data making it difficult to identify what actually mattered. Dashboards varied in structure, visual language and usability, limiting their effectiveness for decision-making.
Data Structure
Critical data was identified based on business goals and reorganized into clear structures, ensuring metrics and insights are grouped in a way that supports fast understanding.
Guided Interpretation
Layouts were designed to guide users through key metrics, trends and insights, helping surface what matters without requiring manual analysis.
Visualization Clarity
Charts, graphs and UI elements were standardized to improve readability, reduce noise and highlight what matters.
Scalable Components
Templates were built to be reused across teams, ensuring consistency while allowing flexibility for different reporting needs.
